I found myself in the position last night of sitting in my therapist’s office, listing out everything I know about why there’s a chance the US is going to descend into a civil war in the next 12 months.

Firstly, I should note, he didn’t dispute me. So either he sees my point or I’m further gone than I thought I was.

Secondly, I’m not here to fearmonger. I’m not here to convince anybody of anything. I’ve just been following right-wing movements in this country since 2017 or so, not directly but by following a lot of very talented journalists who track them and incur terrible psychological damage by doing so. I find it interesting in the way that I’ve found the darker side of humanity interesting for my whole life.
